The Anthony Duclair Foundation (ADF), with the support of the NHL/NHLPA Industry Growth Fund, today announced an initiative to demonstrate a resolute commitment to fostering diversity
and growing hockey in South Florida. The project involves the construction of a 100-foot by 50-foot synthetic outdoor hockey rink at Boyd Anderson High School in Lauderdale Lakes, Florida.
The construction of this synthetic ice rink will be fully funded by the NHL and NHLPA’s Industry Growth Fund and will feature Glice North America’s synthetic ice panels. Boyd Anderson High School, with over 85% of its students belonging to minority communities, will be home to this innovative synthetic outdoor hockey rink. This initiative aims to provide a new avenue for sports and recreation, introducing the thrill of playing hockey to students who may not have had this opportunity before.
